You’ve seen the headlines: Threats of ICE at poll sites and in our neighborhoods, Supreme Court decisions greenlighting mid-decade gerrymandering to suppress Black voters, federal attacks on mail-in voting, and videos of long lines and broken machines at poll sites. With critical elections this year, Texas voters are in the crosshairs of federal overreach in our streets and at the ballot box.
It's going to be up to us to protect our democracy, defend free and fair elections, and make sure our friends, families, neighbors, and communities can vote with dignity, free from fear and intimidation, and that the will of the people prevails. At our 1.5-hour training, you will understand your voting rights, challenges to youth voting rights, de-escalation techniques, and how to help voters at the polls. Come ready to join our movement of young people defending free and fair elections in Texas and beyond.

For the past decade, Deeds Not Words/Deeds Action Fund has been emboldening the next generation of young leaders and organizers across Texas to fight for a just future.
At a time when reproductive rights and so many of our fundamental values are under attack, young Texans are on the front lines of the fight. Through leadership development, advocacy, and cultural organizing, we’re building a generation that is not waiting for change: they are demanding it.
